Corolla Lighthouse
The lighthouse at Corolla Beach is actually called the Currituck Beach Light.
The Currituck Beach Light is a brick lightouse, the last brick lighthouse to be built on the NC Outer Banks. It stands at 162 feet tall. A total of 214 steps inside lead to the top. Visitors can climb to the top for a nominal fee of only $7, which supports the preservation of the lighthouse.
